Council activities build a sense of fraternity among our members and their families. Much of our charitable efforts are focused toward the Church and our community but at times, our members and their families come together to promote unity of the Council.
Some of these activities may include but are not limited to the following:
Building the Council is important to it's success and longevity. To this end, we occasionally hold membership Drives to introduce ourselves to the Church community and encourage other men to join the Knights of Columbus and be an important member of the Council.
Known better as the "Tootsie Roll Drive" the Knights raise money for people with intelectual disabilities by asking for donations and in return giving the gift of a Tootsie Roll or two. Money raised helps with a multitude needs including to help fund Special Olympics, promote Autism Awareness and Alzheimer's Research. For more information, e-mail us at info.kofc16126@gmail.com.
Attending Mass and receiving communion as a group provides both the spiritual and social aspects for members to enjoy and promotes fraternity among the council’s families.
In an effort to promote the deeds of the council and inform the community of the Knights of Columbus Council we have developed and maintain this website and a monthly newsletter as well as keeping the parish advised of upcoming events through postings in the bulletin.
